Jessie Harris: Collection FIVE

It’s not secret that we’re big fans of Jessie Harris. Every time the East London-based jewellery designer brings out a new collection we find ourselves swooning, ogling and hovering over the ‘Add to Basket’ button. It’s easy to see why. Firstly, Jessie is a total master of her craft. Her latest drop - Collection FIVE - features more of her signature silver work; hardware-inspired hoops, shapes and swirls all featuring a ‘loop the loop’ motif that’s mirrored in every minimalist piece. Delicate tassels and reflective sheets of silver and gold make for an entirely lust-worthy collection that we can easily imagine wearing with everything from crisp white linen to shimmery, strapping evening dresses.

Secondly, Jessie has an enviable eye when it comes to her always beautiful lookbooks. For this collection, blush tones and neutrals provide a dreamy backdrop to a playful image series where Jessie’s jewellery sits on the skin - think eyelids, boobs and (of course) earlobes. It always feels like Jessie’s imagery has a feminist nod and this lookbook is no exception. Perhaps it’s something to do with the pictures being shot by photographer and previous Glasshouse contributor Agnes Lloyd-Platt. Or perhaps it’s simply to do with the fact that Jessie Harris’ pieces defy any stereotype of girlish, delicate jewellery.

You can shop the full collection online or exclusively in the fourth edition of the wonderful Marina Guergova’s The Basics Store, this time in Notting Hill. Scroll down to take a peek at the Collection FIVE lookbook.
