Happenings: The Acey Store

Based in Netil House, The Acey is one of our favourite online destinations for consciously-made contemporary women’s clothing - they also happen to be our neighbours. Thankfully, more and more people seem to be considering sustainability when it comes to their shopping habits, and (even more thankfully) The Acey are here to make it that little bit more stylish. This December, owner and Glasshouse regular Holly Allenby has set up a physical shop in Shoreditch for the whole month - and it’s definitely worth a visit.

Stocking both clothing and lifestyle pieces, THE-ACEY specialises in innovative sustainable labels such as recycled leather brand Paperthinks and eco-friendly tights made by Swedish Stockings. You’ll also find fine jewellery, organic nail oils from Uka and a recently released collection of beautiful merino and cashmere knitwear, made in Scotland exclusively by The Acey. What we love most about Holly is her integrity and commitment to supporting sustainable brands. Paired with impeccable taste and a knack of discovering hidden gems in an increasingly crowded ethical market, Holly’s the girl to trust, making her pop-up a must visit.

So, if you’re in Shoreditch this weekend on the hunt for stocking fillers, Redchurch Street is the place to head. The Acey are once again proving that it’s possible to shop with a conscious without compromising on quality, creativity and style. And for that we are truly grateful!

The Acey Pop Up is open from 1 December - 24 December, and is located on 42 Redchurch Street (access via Chance Street) Shoreditch E2 7DP.
