Novel Beings

Incorporating our love of clean, gentle yet effective cosmetics, and fashion with sustainability in mind, we have created a series of images in collaboration with some of our favourite like minded individuals. This shoot saw us work with Novel Beings, a creative agency made up of those who seek to use the best in organic beauty and sustainable fashion.

Our make-up artist Khandiz, has shared her top-tips for these dewy, paired-back looks. She suggests using your fingers for application where possible to buff and work product into the skin. Our new in-house range of RMS Beauty cosmetics are coconut oil (centre pressed) based, so the heat from your finger tips or the use of our new foundation brushes are perfect for beautifully blended results.

‘All the products I use are from natural or organic sources, and don’t contain synthetic preservatives.’ - Khandiz.

This peach-toned look was the perfect match for a selection of white wardrobe staples from People Tree, including the Miranda Pocket Shirt in Eco White and Triangle Enamel Earrings in White. Khandiz began with a base of Nourish Skincare Argan Renew Moisturiser. A dab of RMS Living Luminizer mixed with RMS Beauty Un-Cover-Up was then blended over the skin to create a barely-there look. Finishing off with a subtle pink flush of Ilia Multi Stick in All of Me.

Arabella wears a utility-style Yowie Jumpsuit by Nanushka, followed by a sheer shirt dress in Nomad Check, also by Nanushka - both of these are available online at The Acey. We also love the silky grey Maxi Shirt Dress by Outsider at Here Today Here Tomorrow, highlighting the bright, dewy skin and the simplicity of this look.

From blush pink to powder blue, Khandiz applied a slick of Chocolate Brown Couleur Caramel Eye pencil n°115 in Turquoise Blue across the lids, matching the icy hair hue and creating a fresh statement look. Lips were kept simple with Skin & Tonic Calm Balm, which contains chamomile and English lavender to nourish even the most damaged of lips.
