A Sustainable Department Store: Workshops

Our latest pop-up, A Sustainable Department Store, is fast approaching on the 29th May and along with the range of beauty, fashion and lifestyle items we will be selling, we are hosting a series of exciting and immersive events with several of the brands involved. From making your own natural face masque with Guy Morgan to a still life drawing session with Eesome and Kana, here are all the details on each event and how to get involved.

Launch Night: Wednesday 29th May

6:00-8:00pm

Join us on the opening night of A Sustainable Department Store for a glass of (organic) wine to meet the brands involved, preview the space and enjoy discounted shopping on selected items for the evening.

No registration necessary, just pop in!

Eesome x Kana Still Life Drawing: Thursday 30th May

6:30-8:00pm

£15.00

Enjoy a relaxed evening of still life drawing over a glass of wine with Hana and Ana of Eesome and Kana London. Using the curves and textures of the ceramics stocked at Eesome and Kana, we will be creating still life scenes with a focus on composition and shape, adding depth and shadow through light play. This is a casual evening suitable for all levels where you can work at your own pace with guidance from Ana. The ticket price includes your basic materials and your glass of wine.

Women Talk Panel Discussion: Friday 31st May

6:30-8:00pm

Join a collective of female founders, entrepreneurs and creatives as we discuss what its like to be a woman in 2019, from the challenges we face in the work place to owning our bodies and redefining ourselves. The panel lineup includes Agnes Lloyd Platt (Photographer), India Majury (The Energy Coach) and Abi Adams (The Soulful Movement Coach), alongside our very own Olivia Crighton, hosted by Karina Banks.

Guy Morgan Facial Masque Workshop: Saturday 1st June

5:00-6:00pm

£20.00

Join us for a recharging workshop of self-care and learn the art of making your own natural clay facial masque with Guy Morgan. Based around the principles and formulas of his eponymous brand, Guy will advise on different skin types and concerns, with expert tips and tricks to prolong the effects and get the most out of your masque. Using a range of Soil Association certified organic ingredients, you will be able to blend your own facial masque to take away with you. You will also have access to an exclusive 10% off Guy Morgan products at the Store for the night.

Dried Flower Workshop: Monday 3rd June

6:30-7:45pm

£25.00

Learn how to make your own dried floral bouquet with London based florist Athlyn. From how to source and dry different varieties of flowers, to a guided session on how to make your own bouquet. The ticket covers all your materials and you will get your own unique bunch of dried flowers to take home with you.
