Just in time for Christmas, we’ve got a brand new editorial which has a festive twist and more than a few gawky glasses and knitted jumpers. Inspired by family photos and school portraits from the 1970’s and 80’s, we collaborated with our favourite photography duo, AL&K, to create an image series celebrating the most awkward side of the season in a colourful array of winter get-ups that wouldn’t look out of place on a 70’s mantelpiece…
We called on our Netil Market neighbour Natalie, who runs The Worshipful Little Shop of Spectacles - a pandora’s box of handmade and vintage frames that Natalie lovingly restores and sells from her market shop. Combined with some serious middle-parted and quiffed hair looks created by the Glasshouse team, we hope you love this story as much as we do.
