12 months of smoothies: March

Today is National Strawberry day, celebrating one of the most popular fruits in the world. As the first fruit to ripen every year, they are known as ‘the taste of spring’, which is definitely what we’re craving right now.

Our latest smoothie combines this sweet berry with medjool dates, adding an amazing caramel flavoured element, antioxidant rich goji berries and cashews.

A real treat for the eyes and taste buds, we can see this smoothie making it’s way into our breakfasts, lunches and late night snacking.

Ingredients:

1 cups of unsweetened almond milk
¼ cup medjool dates
1/8 cup of dried, unsweetened goji berries
1/4 cup of raw cashews
1/2 cup of stawberries
Ice ( about 3 cubes, or can omit if you use frozen strawberries)

Method:

Simply throw all ingredients into a blender, whizz them up and enjoy!
