Hair musing: Leonardo Dicaprio

Hair musing: Leonardo Dicaprio

Having turned 40 just last week, we thought it was about time we paid some attention to one of the worlds most loved heart throbs; Leonardo Dicaprio. Our most coveted style is his 90’s floppy eye sweeping mop, best demonstrated in his role as Romeo in the Baz Luhrmann’s iconic Romeo and Juliet remake.

Initially shooting to fame with one of his debut performances in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, he went on to play lead parts in cult classics The Basketball Diaries and Titanic. Now a committed environmentalist, he has gone on to star in some of the centuries biggest blockbusters as well as donating to various charities ranging from wildlife protection to gay rights.

Boys looking to emulate this style should first grow their hair to an even length before coming to the salon to snip into shape, as although it may appear effortless, work is to be done to keep the style from looking too throwback. To finish, add a little of our Organic Colour Systems Sculpt product to get that grungy, lived-in vibe.
